Automotive Biller/Title Clerk

We are seeking a Biller / Title Clerk to process the accounting of vehicle purchases, process car deals, verify costs for the accounting department, handle the legal transfer of documents for the Department of Motor Vehicles, and more. Responsibilities - Biller/Title Clerk:

• Process the accounting of vehicle purchases, process car deals, verify costs for the accounting department, handle the legal transfer of documents for the Department of Motor Vehicles, and more.
• Verifies all deal contents and issues payoff checks for trade-ins
• Posts all sale transactions
• Reconciles new and used inventory schedules
• Maintains sales commissions
• Responsible for Daily Floorplan payoffs
• Uploads Daily Positive Paycheck records
• Reconciles Dealer Reserve Statements
• Submits Warranty, GAP and other financial product purchases and cancellations
• Handles Daily Bank Deposits
• Processes all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
• Prepares tax and title documents
• Submits legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
• Signs over titles for all wholesalers who have paid in full.
• Processes/registers all vehicle warranties and extended service contracts, maintaining a log of all contracts processed and mailed.
• Other tasks may be assigned
  
  Requirements - Biller/Title Clerk:
  • Experience is preferred
  • Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency
  • Able to research and analyze information
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • A positive attitude and professional appearance
    • Good communication and customer service skills
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Valid driver's license and a good driving record
