Volt is immediately hiring an Entry Level Electrical Test Engineer
to support a key client, located in Milwaukee, WI.
As an Electrical Test Engineer, you will:
Assist with equipment setup in test chambers per the requirements
of the Customer
Verify product testing power requirements and facility needs.
Review and understand Product Test Plans.
Compile test results and complete Test Reports for submittal to
Customer.
Verify proper equipment is used and calibrations are up to
date.
Estimated Durtion-12+ months
The ideal candidate will have:
Technical degree related to Electrical Engineering (open to entry
level!)
Experience with, or ability to be trained in, NFPA 70E (Training
for Electrical Safety in the Workplace)
Familiarity working with medium/high voltage equipment (300V DC,
480V 3 Phase AC, Arc Flash Level 2 protection)
Experience using wire bonders
Experience with data acquisition systems
Firm understanding of power fundamentals
Ability to read complex electrical diagrams and schematics
Ability to use common electrical tools to fabricate electrical
devices
Experience with electrical research and development
This is a full-time, contingent opportunity.
Pay Rate: $30.00 - 37.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on
several factors, including the candidate's education, work
experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,
etc.
