System One is seeking a skilled and motivated Jr. Pipe Stress Engineer for a direct hire opportunity. This role is open to a hybrid work model for candidates local to the Naperville, IL or Atlanta, GA area. Nuclear industry experience is required.

Jr. Pipe Stress Engineer
Contract Engineer-Pipe Stress Analysis - Experienced (Jr. - Mid-Career Level)

REMOTE OPTION AVAILALBLE

In this role you will be performing stress analyses, preparing piping and engineering specifications and ensuring code compliance. You will be working with a team of engineers across disciplines and locations on client projects involving modifications to existing power generation facilities and plant systems for today's leading energy providers.
--- Design and analysis of changes to existing power plants as well as new plant systems.
--- Perform calculations, develop isometrics, and provide design recommendations, specifications, and design change packages
--- Lead design engineering efforts on multi-disciplined project design team
--- Provide technical support for field execution, including outage/turnaround projects
--- Assist in constructability planning, proposal, and estimate development
--- Mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications/Requirements:
--- BS in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from ABET accredited university required.
--- Minimum of 2-5 years piping/mechanical design experience with focus on pipe stress analysis projects in nuclear facilities, oil & gas or similar systems.
--- Strong organizational skills. Effective written and verbal communication with clients, colleagues, and colleagues within other disciplines, project managers, and management.
--- Knowledge of ME101, AutoPIPE, SuperPipe, AutoCAD, Laser Scanning and GTStrudl preferred.
--- Strong computer knowledge of Microsoft Office, and CAD Software.
--- Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. (i.e. without the need for work sponsorship now or in the future)
