Department: Information Technology Summary: Reporting directly to
the Global Chief Information Officer, you will collaborate with
Senior Leaders across our product and services businesses and
across our IT Digital Partners to reimagine the future of our
business, creating unparalleled business value.This Senior IT
leader will possess extensive knowledge of Data, AI/ML, DevSecOps,
and digital platforms with demonstrated success in leading world
class engineering organizations, building enterprise grade
platforms/solutions, and translating technology investments into
business outcomes.As the Senior Director of Data, AI, and Digital
Platforms, you will lead the design, development, and evolution of
our Digital and Data/AI Platforms with a key focus on unifying all
data across the enterprise and external sources to derive insights
to accelerate business performance and customer intimacy. This role
will lead an enterprise culture shift toward a data-driven culture
and enable more personalized customer experiences through all our
customer touchpoints, current and future. You will help evolve the
IT landscape towards a modular, composable enterprise architecture,
accelerating productivity and speed to value. You will foster
strong engineering disciplines and inspire a high-performing global
team to deliver continuous business value.Hollister operates in a
hybrid work environment.Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy: Be an industry thought leader and
provide oversight and strategic direction to the Data/AI and
Digital Platform teams, aligning product and platform roadmaps with
corporate and business unit objectives. Stay informed on emerging
technologies and assess their potential impact on the organization.
Continually evolve and mature our digital, DevSecOps, and data
management practices in alignment with industry advances and
regulatory requirements.
- Innovation and Collaboration: Foster a culture of innovation
and collaboration within the team and across the enterprise,
establishing Global IT as a strategic partner and change catalyst
driving unparallel business value.
- Modern Data Architecture and Data Platform: Design and
implement modern data architectures to enhance analytics, AI/ML,
and data visualizations, driving key insights for decision-making.
Lead the design, development and evolution of a secure, compliant,
and scalable data/AI platform to enable easy access to trustworthy
data across the enterprise.
- Data Governance: Establish comprehensive data governance
frameworks, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance while
simplifying governance via AI and automation.
- Digital and Data Culture: Cultivate a digital and data-driven
culture, enhancing data literacy across the organization.
- Digital Platforms: Lead the design, development and evolution
of modern, secure, compliant, and scalable digital platforms,
including websites, mobile apps, digital products, automation, and
integration/API, while delivering seamless customer
experiences.
- Automation Advancement: Expand automation, RPA, Intelligent /
Autonomous Agents leveraging Data, AI/ML, GenAI and latest
technological advancements to accelerate business agility and
performance.
- Lead the Evolution of DevSecOps, CI/CD, and Microservices:
Expand and evolve our DevSecOps and CI/CD platforms to rapidly
deliver digital solutions and exceptional customer experiences.
Evolve IT toward a microservices and API-first architecture to
facilitate the discovery and re-use of assets to drive operational
efficiency, developer productivity, and scalability while enforcing
security and compliance.
Essential Functions of the Role:
- Architectural Experience: Deep experience in designing scalable
Digital Platforms, Data Platforms, microservices, reusable assets,
products, and solutions.
- Technology Industry Expertise: Deep digital, data and
technology skills and understanding of technology trends and best
practices in digital platforms, microservices, data, AI/ML, GenAI,
cloud computing, and automation as well as experience in
customer-facing digital products / apps.
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record in leading and
inspiring highly technical teams, leading change, and advancing an
enterprise-wide data-driven culture.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate business objectives
into effective long-term technology strategies and
roadmaps.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
to deliver solutions that drive business results.
- Collaboration and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal
skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and
executives, with the ability to influence senior leaders and peers
toward a business outcome
- Industry Experience: Experience in life sciences or related
high-regulated industries, with executive leadership in data
operations or technology organizations.
Requirements:
- 15+ years overall experience is required
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology,
Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, or related
field.
- MBA or Master of Science Preferred
- Minimum of fifteen years of overall experience in IT, with at
least ten years of experience in Data and Analytics and at least
five years in DevOps / Web and Mobile Apps.
- Proven record of developing and delivering data and analytics
strategies and business outcomes across multiple functions and
businesses in a multinational company.
- Industry visibility, panel participation and other publicly
available thought leadership.
- Advanced understanding of various data platforms, digital
platforms, and cloud platforms to support data modernization and
customer mobile/web app development.
- Advanced understanding of DataOps, MLOps and FinOps
- Experience in leading digital transformation though data,
analytics, AI and GenAI.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal
skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both
technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with data governance and data literacy programs and
delivery.
- Proven record of managing executive relationships and driving a
data-first mindset across a complex, multinational, multiple
business unit organization.
- Ability to travel (-25%) as needed.
Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge:
- Formal education/training and experience with data, AI/ML
methods, GenAI
- Experience driving responsible AI adoption and deep knowledge
of LLMs, and RAG techniques
- Working knowledge of data and AI/ML ecosystem, technology, and
industry best practice including data engineering, data warehousing
technology, and DataOps
- Working knowledge of microservices, containers, APIs,
composable architectures
- Strong knowledge of Azure Environment and DevSecOps

- The anticipated base salary range for this position is $180,000
- $282,000 yearly. The actual salary varies based on applicant's
location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other
legitimate business factors.
- If applicable: This position is also eligible to participate in
the Hollister Secure Start Bonus Plan. The Company also provides a
unique Benefit of Employee Share Ownership Program (BESOP) program
based on earnings and length of service.
