Job Description:
A company is looking for a Special Assets Manager to oversee
problem asset management and recovery strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Maximize recoveries and minimize losses on problem assets in line
with bank policy
Manage problem asset strategies, including negotiations and
restructuring efforts
Coordinate with internal and external advisors to develop cohesive
strategies for asset recovery
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience working for a US bank
5+ years of credit analysis and workout/restructuring
experience
Strong credit skills and experience with loan documentation
Knowledge of US GAAP related to impaired assets and the US
Bankruptcy Code
Experience managing distressed assets and working with creditors in
bankruptcy and restructuring
