Job DescriptionPosted Monday, February 24, 2025 at 7:00 AMAMSOIL INC. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to oversee the Safety, Production, Inventory/Receiving, Maintenance, and Shipping functions at our Milwaukee, Wisconsin plant. The Director of Operations will manage teams in a constructive, respectful manner, consistent with AMSOIL's corporate culture.Core Responsibilities:

• Champion safety in all aspects of work at the Milwaukee site.
• Accountable for effective performance management and leadership of all personnel at the site, including performance reviews, goal-setting, production goals, disciplinary action, career development, and succession planning.
• Administer the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) effectively with all hourly employees working in Production, Warehouse, and Driver roles.
• Play a leading role in the Capital Expenditure Control System, including capital planning, cost tracking, and ongoing monitoring of strategy effectiveness.
• Accountable for AMSOIL quality performance through the establishment of documented standards and fostering a culture of quality performance throughout the site.
• Identify opportunities to increase production capacity, optimize asset performance, and maintain operational flexibility/agility while minimizing unnecessary costs.
• Work with the Planning Team to develop improved demand forecasts to allow for better level-loading of personnel and assets.
• Evaluate production schedules and labor requirements to provide work direction, effectively balance labor resources, and provide feedback on planning.
• Perform duties as a key member of the Emergency Response Team and obtain training and awareness to qualify as an alternate Qualified Individual (QI) for spill response incidents.Position Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to be insured under company driving program.
• Experience with JDE manufacturing system or similar ERP manufacturing system.
• Strong management skills with the ability to supervise multiple teams.
• Analytical background with solid problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong written and oral communications.
• Ability to create accountability and lead by example.
• Excellent conflict-resolution and decision-making abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work within a collaborative team environment.
• Keen attention to detail.
