Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.Job Description & Requirements

  Contract Length: 13 weeks
  Start Date: 12/2/24
  Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36
  Shift Requirements: 12 hours Days 0700-1930
  Float Requirements: Float to all inpatient units as needed..
  On Call/Call Back Requirements: Able to take call if wanted
  Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend. Every other holiday
  Required Certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS. **Must be able to pass EKG test 1st week of hire.**
  Minimum Experience: 2 years IMC/PCU/Tele experience required and MUST HAVE 1 YEAR STRONG CARDIAC EXPERIENCE (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU) Candidates cannot move forward in the interview process without experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips
  *Required: at least ONE travel assignment must be completed
  * Charting- 1 year recent EPIC charting experience required
  Unit Information: 44 Bed Intermediate cardiac stepdown. Fast paced, high patient turnover. Post op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, Vascular, Arrhythmia, CHF, Post procedure cath, pacer, defib, ablations, Acute CP/MI, med/surg overflow i.e. detox, DKA, COPD exac, resp failure. Patient ratio typically 1:4

  GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
