  • Our clinic has 4 medical oncologists and 2 radiation oncologists.
  • We are a fairly busy clinic and see around 130 patients each day.
  • Perform port draws and line draws in the lab on patients prior to chemotherapy treatment.
  • Room patients, take vitals, provide nursing assessments.
  • Offer assistance in the chemo room after training.
  • The Registered Nurse is a professional who assumes the responsibility and accountability for the provision of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care.
  • Experience in oncology preferred.
    • Job Requirements
    • Active RN License
    • 1 year experience in Oncology (preferred)
    • Proficient with port draws and line draws?
    • Proficient with rooming patients, taking vitals and providing nursing assessments?
      • Unit Specific Information
      • Ratio: Chemo room 1:5 , doc assignment (1 nurse for each doctor), float & labs
        • Additional Details
