Support (BLS) Must-Have: Experience with ostomy care, some drains,
IV skills, drip management (heparin, insulin, Cardizem,
Amiodarone), basic medical-surgical skills, experience in
admissions/discharges, fast-paced environment. Job Description: -
Work in a Level III Trauma Center and Level III NICU with a Magnet
Designation and Comprehensive Stroke Center. - Work in a 28-bed
unit focusing on medical and telemedicine cases such as chest pain,
post-cath lab, CHF, AFib, TIA, and post-IR. - Manage patient ratios
of 1:4-5 during the day and 1:6-8 at night. - Provide care for
ambulatory patients, including drip management and IV skills. No
ventilators or trachs. - Support from charge nurse, unit secretary,
hospitalist, RT, and centralized telemetry monitoring available
24/7. - Use EPIC charting system and Alaris equipment. - Engage in
a structured orientation process including 4-8 hours of New
Employee Orientation and one full shift on the unit. - Participate
in weekend rotation every other weekend and expect to work one
holiday per season. - Comply with fatigue policy limiting work to
60 hours per week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts. - Must document
pain levels before and after administering pain medications
according to prescribed guidelines. - Flexibility in scrub colors,
except no camo or denim. - Free parking in designated areas. Note:
