We are a 24 hours skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing quality care to our residents with 62 bed rooms which includes 44 private rooms. Our services include 24 hours nursing care, Medicare certified beds, physical, occupational, and speech therapy and so much more.Summary Description: The primary function of this position is responsible for a team of residents to render general nursing care in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Youll be responsible for administering approved nursing techniques to prescribed medications and treatments. Prepares and aid the Physicians during treatments and examinations of residents. Continuously observes residents for any significant conditions and reactions of residents and notifies Nurse Supervisor or Physician of residents conditions or reaction to drugs, treatments and incidents. Performs duties as outlined for Nursing Assistants in performing daily duties as needed.Qualifications: In order to be considered for the position you must meet the minimum qualifications listed below.Education: Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of WisconsinExperience:* Previous long-term care experience or post acute care, preferably:* Demonstrates knowledge of and ability to apply basic principles of nursing care.* Demonstrates interest and positive attitude about working with long-term care residents and the elderly.* 1 year of experience is preferred.* Specific Requirements:* Must have a current active state licensure from the WI Board of Nursing or current home state license if considered multi-state/compact state.
