They conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide evidenced-based psychotherapeutic interventions. Additionally, they provide mental health consultation and training to facility staff.Key Responsibilities:Provide clinical services to persons served in compliance with policies and relevant professional standards, including individual and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and diagnostic evaluations.Complete relevant clinical documentation, including clinical service reports and mental health treatment records, in a timely and professional manner.Provide consultation services to institutional staff, including screening committees and psychiatric staff, regarding the mental status and management of persons served.Participate in staff meetings, in-service training programs, and specialized clinical services and/or program development activities.Maintain accountability for services provided through participation in the Quality Improvement program and timely and accurate recording of activities.Additional Details: MILWAUKEE CO JAIL ON SITE Preferred applicants will have an active LPC or LCSW license with experience doing mental health intake in acute settings. Non-independent licenses such as LPC-IT or APSW may be considered with appropriate job experience. Hours for this position are Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri from 4pm-10pm. Applicants must have one of the following licenses active to be considered: Licensed Professional Counselor In-Training (if eligible and require supervisor signature to obtain license this is also acceptable) Licensed Professional Counselor Advanced Practice Social Worker Licensed Clinical Social Worker Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Hours for this position are Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri from 4pm-10pm. MASTERS : SOCIAL WORK, MARRIAGE & FAMILY THERAPY, COUSELING OR PSYCHOLOGY REQUIRED We are scheduled 24/7 at this site Mental Health Professionals - 8hr Shifts FT DAYS EVERY OTHER WEEKEND ROTATION ** We accept training licenses , we LOVE new GRADS ** otherwise you MUST be a licensed MHP OR in the process of getting licensed.
