Internal Medicine Physician to join our elite team!EMR System:

time of the offer. Responsibilities Ascension Wisconsin is looking
for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Famly
Medicine Physician Hospitalist. This is a great opportunity for the
right candidate to partner with Ascension Wisconsin to provide
medical services to patients. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Join a well-established practice consisting of Hospitalists and
Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants
7on/7off, 12-hour shifts with 175 shifts per year (Tuesday-Monday
work week, with 2-3 weeks of night coverage per year)

Compensation RESPONSIBILITIES Work with a team that is experienced,
and enjoys working in a strong team atmosphere
Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic
and treatment skills
Respond to all code blue/rapid response calls; ability to perform
procedures if you desire, but not required
Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of
efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided
to patients
Accepts patient referrals from other physicians. Acts as admitting,
attending and/or consulting physician for patients who require
hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, depending on needs
of patients, medical staff and hospital
Participates in academic programs (e.g. medical education and
research) as requested
Provides appropriate documentation that meets insurance company
requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner
Participates in inpatient and outpatient consultation for
specialty, which may include on call schedules FACILITY
Work with a close-knit team that is experienced and has a strong
team atmosphere
St Elizabeth Hospital is newly renovated with a state of the art
90-bed patient tower
Full complement of sub-specialists on staff (Cardiology,
Pulmonary/Critical Care, Gastroenterology, Renal, Surgical)
Hospitalist Team has a supportive nursing/administrative team
