Saz's Catering is seeking an Event Manager to direct all aspects of our private events including weddings, rehearsal dinners, fundraisers, and corporate events. This role will be the on-site point of contact for clients and vendors while managing the event timelines. This is a full-time, hourly position with a competitive wage based on experience, as well as flexible scheduling. Provide direction, guidance and training to catering staff, event servers, and bartendersLead event teams in picking, loading, transportation and setup of events, as well as teardown and unpackingInstruct event team in process of food preparation, plating, service, and sanitation on site while using a variety of cooking equipment which may include deep fryers, convection ovens, and grillsParticipate in sales and operations meetingsKeep an eye out for opportunities to delight our guestsMust be able to walk, stand and lift moderate weights for extended periodsHave a valid Driver's License with insurable record in order to operate a variety of company-owned vehiclePlease have at least one year's experience working in hospitality, as an event coordinator or in a supervisory role.
