Job Description Summary: We're seeking a Second Shift Material
Process Lead to plan and direct the work of others, make decisions,
and promote teamwork in our Franklin, WI packaging facility.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and Direct Work: Set goals, address production and
employee issues, and make decisions for the team.
- Teamwork and Communication: Promote teamwork, communicate with
internal departments and external customers, and ensure production
and customer needs are met.
- Training and Development: Participate in training classes,
develop educational materials, and facilitate classes to provide
ongoing training.
- Labor Planning and Safety: Coordinate labor planning, enforce
safety regulations, and participate in daily maintenance
inspections.
- Disciplinary Actions and Evaluations: Conduct employee
disciplinary actions, evaluations, and reviews.
- Leadership and Communication: Demonstrate good leadership,
communicate effectively, and professionally verbally and written,
and have a proficient knowledge of departmental programs,
applications, and computer operating systems.
- Equipment Operation: Drive a forklift and operate other powered
equipment.
- Work Schedule: Work Monday-Thursday from 3 pm - 1 am including
overtime as needed.
- Physical Demands: Bend and lift 10-15 pounds continuously, lift
up to 50 pounds occasionally, stand for long hours, and use hands
and wrists continuously.
- Math Skills and Communication: Perform basic math calculations,
and have good verbal and written comprehension skills, and
communicate in English.
