Job Description:

Position Summary: As a Switchgear Leak Tester, you will be responsible for assembling external components on the switch, vacuuming, filling with gas, and conducting leak tests to ensure product quality.

• Pick and assemble required parts according to drawings
• Maintain leak test equipment
• Conduct leak tests on fully pressurized Switchgear per instruction
• Inspect all work prior to passing it on to the next operation
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to safely use small hand and power tools
  • Ability to read and interpret Drawings and Bills of Material
  • Good organization skills and ability to multi-task a variety of simultaneous processes Education/Experience:
    • High School diploma, GED or combination of work experience and skill development required
    • Up to 1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment desirable Physical Demands: The work is classified as Medium - Heavy Physical Demand Level (PDL) by the US Dept of Labor's Dictionary of Occupational Titles Why join us?
