Job Description:

One of our top clients is looking to identify and hire a Front-End Developer to work alongside graphic designers, web designers, and UX designers to improve front-end interfaces.  This front-end developer will be working for an award winning web and software development firm located downtown just steps from Union Station.  The web developer will be working with HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, JavaScript and other technologies that are required to create each unique solution.
 
This is a fast paced environment where the ideal candidate must be capable of multi-tasking effectively and efficiently (previous consulting experience is a major plus). My client is looking for innovative solutions driven individuals who are passionate about creating exceptional front-end interfaces and capable of translating mock-ups and prototypes into work interfaces. You will also play a key role in direct client communication and project planning. This is a collaborative environment so you will be working alongside a team of UX designers, front-end developers and back-end developers to customize specific solutions that meet client demands.  You will also be asked to take lead on browser/device acceptance testing and bug fixes.
 
To be considered for the front-end developer opportunity you must know or have the following experience:
- Strong HTML5 and CSS3 experience
- Experience with JavaScript (JQuery frameworks) – Desire to learn or previous experience with Node, Require, Backbone or other flex advanced JS skills are a major plus.
- Previous experience with Grunt
- Someone who can deliver quality work within budget and able to meet deadlines and time constraints.
- Experience with responsive layouts and understands the benefits of using responsive framework but doesn’t always need to rely on it.
