Senior Software Development Engineer In Test At Above Lending, a leading US small lending firm, we are seeking a talented Senior Software Development Engineer In Test (SDET) to join our team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in delivering quality and performance of our software products that include web and backend API. This role involves working closely with Software Developers and Product teams- that includes leveraging shift-left methods to understand a complex domain and product. The Senior SDET focuses on contributing to the development of automated Functional Integration tests and end-to-end tests. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of offering seamless loan services that aid in credit improvement for our customers. • Test complex AP and web based applications that reference database back-end systems.
• Create and maintain automated test cases, execute test suites, review and diagnose reported bugs, and ensure overall system quality prior to a customer release.
• Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated suites of tests -
• Reproduce, debug, and isolate problems and verify fixes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
• Work closely with software developers to create software artifacts including test plans, test cases, test procedures and test reports.You have
  • 5+ years in SDET or QA type roles
  • Experience testing, releasing, and maintaining production-quality software
  • Strong experience in API testing
  • Ability to troubleshoot production issues in unfamiliar code
  • Experience with Test processes, test design strategies, writing test cases, and automating tests
  • Clear and efficient communication skills
