• Employment Type: TravelSummaryAt the direction of a radiologist and/or other providers, prepares patients, performs imaging procedures and operates imaging equipment. Performsdiagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Adheres toorganizational customer service standards and supports the organizational excellence initiatives. Provides positive and effective interaction andcommunication with patients, visitors, and staff. Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas as necessary. Responsible forperforming all CT, Diagnostic X-ray, and Point of Care Lab Testing. Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities2. DIAGNOSTIC X-RAY: Performs radiologic/fluoroscopic procedures accurately and efficiently with the least amount of discomfort to the patient.Provides radiation protection to self and patients in accordance with ALARA and follows other prescribed safety standards (OSHA, PPE, handwashing etc.). CT: Performs routine and 'special' CT examinations according to manufacturer, medical/department standards and protocols, andwithin proper guidelines of radiation safety, ALARA and OSHA standards, as well as meeting quality requirementsAccess Healthcare Job ID #3-35594216.
