THE WORK
We are looking for a skilled and self-motivated Shop Technician who
is looking for a challenging and diverse work environment while
contributing to the development of innovative solutions. In this
role you will be responsible for: Troubleshooting and
repair/overhaul of general aircraft components such as landing
gear, wheels, pumps, brakes, actuators, engine mounts, valves and
like components, the operation of various test equipment including
high pressure hydraulic stands, actuator stands and precision
measuring equipment, and the return of the component back to
service in an airworthy condition. Quality workmanship and
attention to detail is a must. This position reports to the Shop
Manager. Please Note: If you are hired, you will be performing an
important safety-sensitive job covered by the U.S. Department of
Transportation's Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Regulations
require that you participate in an alcohol and drug testing program
for the following drugs: Marijuana - Opioids - Cocaine
-Amphetamines - Phencyclidine - MDA (methylenedioxyamphetamine) -
Heroin (6-Acetylmorphine) - or a metabolite of these drugs. WHO WE

You possess a robust technical foundation with a keen attention to
detail. You are able to problem-solve and address complex
challenges while being open to continuous learning. This is a
early-career role and candidates typically have around 1 to 2 years

Basic Qualifications:
--- General aircraft component repair experience; or possession of
either a FAA A&P license or repairmen certificate.
--- Basic Excel, Outlook and Word skills are needed.
--- Education Requirement of at least high school diploma or
equivalent.
Desired Skills:
--- Aircraft hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic component
experience a plus.
--- An aerospace technical degree or higher is a plus.
--- Recent FAA A&P graduates are encouraged to apply.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated
with this position will be performed onsite at a designated
Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate
work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day
work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
