Job Title: Guidewire Integration Developer Lead/Architect
Job Summary: Are you an experienced Guidewire Integration Developer
looking to take the lead in cutting-edge integration projects? Do
you want to work with an innovative environment and collaborate
with top industry experts? We are looking for an ACE-certified
Guidewire Integration Developer Lead/Architect who has a passion
for solving complex integration challenges and driving seamless
communication between Guidewire and external systems.
In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and
implementing integration solutions between Guidewire on-premise
instances, GWCP instances, and various third-party systems,
including CCM and ECM platforms. As both a hands-on developer and a
solution architect, you'll collaborate closely with client
architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to
deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs and push
the boundaries of what's possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Integration Design and Development:
Lead the design and development of robust integration solutions for
Guidewire applications, ensuring seamless communication between
Guidewire, external systems, and third-party applications.
Customize and enhance integration components to meet specific
business requirements, ensuring best practices and maintaining
system integrity throughout the process.
API Development:
Develop and maintain high-performing APIs for efficient data
exchange between Guidewire xCenters and external systems.
Design and implement RESTful and/or SOAP-based web services to
ensure smooth and scalable integration.
Collaboration:
Work closely with business analysts, architects, and
cross-functional development teams to understand integration
requirements and design optimal solutions.
Partner with QA teams to ensure successful testing, validation, and
deployment of integration components.
Documentation:
Create detailed technical design documents, specifications, and
comprehensive integration documentation to ensure knowledge sharing
within the team and for future reference.
Maintain up-to-date documentation that clearly outlines integration
processes and methodologies.
Troubleshooting and Support:
Provide timely support and resolution for production issues related
to Guidewire Policy Center integrations.
Investigate integration-related problems and provide innovative
solutions to ensure smooth production operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a
related field.
Proven experience as a Guidewire Integration Developer, with a
focus on both on-premise and GWCP integrations.
Proficiency in Java and experience with the Gosu programming
language.
Strong understanding of integration patterns, API design, and web
services architecture.
Experience with integration tools and frameworks, such as MuleSoft,
Apache Camel, or similar.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability
to quickly diagnose and resolve issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to
work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Guidewire ACE integrations certification.
Familiarity with the insurance industry's processes and
practices.
Experience with cloud-based integration platforms, as well as
on-premise integration solutions.
