Overview:We're looking for career-minded people to make a real

individual growth and rewards performance. We are offering a
full-time Procurement Agent position. This individual must be
proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP, or another ERP program.
In addition, this individual must possess previous purchasing
experience in a manufacturing environment. We are seeking to fill
this role with a self-starter who strives for improvement and has
an eagerness to learn beyond their list of duties.
Responsibilities: - Monitor and analyze key performance indicators
related to procurement, such as supplier performance, cost savings,
order fulfillment rates, lead times, and inventory levels. -
Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to generate reports and
insights that help identify trends, opportunities for cost
reduction, and areas of improvement in the purchasing process. -
Evaluate and track supplier performance metrics, working closely
with the team to address issues and drive improvements. -
Collaborate with inventory and supply chain teams to forecast
future demand, ensuring optimal purchasing decisions are made based
on historical data and market trends. - Develop and maintain
profitable purchasing strategies using multiple data sets - Monitor
supplier performance to maintain timely delivery and compliance to
terms of contracts - Collect, analyze and summarize data and
trends. Use this data to create forecasts, plan purchase orders and
maintain inventory levels of hundreds of raw materials - Prepare
purchase orders using MRP recommendations, while verifying
necessity, specifications and price - Obtain purchased items on
time to meet production demands by working closely with suppliers;
either by forwarding new purchase orders or monitoring existing
orders for potential requirement changes. - Work closely with
Scheduling and Sales departments to ensure raw material
availability for customer forecasts as well as internal production
plans - Verify receipt of items, and resolve any discrepancies with
suppliers - Work with the Accounts Payable department to resolve
pricing discrepancies with suppliers - Keep information accessible
by logging activity within open documents, saving files in an
organized manner and communicating pertinent information to other
departments - Creating Bill of Materials from customer supplied
specifications - Special projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements:Qualifications: - 3+ years of purchasing experience in
a manufacturing environment - 5+ years of Microsoft Office
experience and general computer skills - Moderate proficiency in
Excel - SAP experience strongly preferred - MRP experience strongly
preferred - Excellent understanding of the manufacturing process as
it pertains to inventory - Strong problem solving and
troubleshooting skills - Strong research and analytical skills -
Strong documentation and organizational skills - Excellent
attention to detail - Strong communication and negotiation skills -
Must be eligible to work in the US - Required to pass a
pre-employment drug screen and background check - Full-time
position - A high school diploma or GED is required - College
degree strongly preferred
